4. Pro-Tips

If you’re looking to get wild (responsibly) and would like to get your drink on, VIP is for you! Elegant animals get to experience the madness from the Main Stage VIP area, elevated above the crowd and offering ample seating with phenomenal stage views. On top of that, you'll benefit from exclusive perks like expedited entry, private bathroom trailers with AC, and, of course, premium bottle service.

Getting to Electric Zoo is easy! From your New York City location, the festival entrance is just a stop or two away. For several years now, the event has provided a multitude of transportation options, like readily available MTA buses and subways, car service pick-ups and drop-offs, round-trip Ferry rides, walking and biking routes, direct-route Brooklyn shuttles, and more. Specific details regarding these routes can be found on its website.

5. Look Inside

Electric Zoo turns the lush green Randall’s Island Park into every festival-goers dream. The island is centrally located in the city and features an extensive range of fields and spaces, Icahn Stadium, and over 9 miles of waterfront bikes and pedestrian pathways.

From Wild Island to the 5th Boro to The Big Ten to 2019's Evolved, the theme changes to something new each year and, subsequently, so does the design, production, and branding of its stages. This year, there were four of them in total: Main Stage, Hilltop Arena, Riverside, and All My Friends. Main Stage was the biggest of all, consistently drawing the largest crowd of the weekend.

A variety of food options are provided on-site such as burgers, hot dogs, and pizza, as well as many other local and vegetarian/vegan choices. These include some of New York City's top street vendors. There will be a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, too, plus beer, wine, and champagne. Those looking for mixed drinks and liquor may only purchase them in the VIP lounge, which is only accessible by those who purchase a VIP Experience or Platinum Experience.

Lockers are available as an add-on, each that come with a USB port and your choice of the cord suited to fit your cell phone, tablet, or digital camera. ATMs are also located throughout the park, as are medical aid stations should you need assistance.
