Fraud Protection via Stripe

Automatically tag customers and reservations based on Stripe fraud risk scores, helping your team identify potentially risky bookings before check-in.

Automatically tag customers and reservations based on Stripe fraud risk scores, helping your team identify potentially risky bookings before check-in.

Can be found in Settings > Fraud protection.

What's new

  • Configure which fraud risk bands automatically apply tags to customers and reservations.
  • Fraud scores are pulled from Stripe Radar after successful payments and mapped into three bands:
    • Fraud - Low (0–30)
    • Fraud - Medium (31–69)
    • Fraud - High (70–100)
  • Medium and High risk tags are enabled by default for both customers and reservations.
  • Fraud scores and risk bands now appear on customer profiles and in CRM reporting.
  • Reservation fraud tags help door and operations teams spot risk before arrival.

How it works

After a successful Stripe payment, TablelistPro receives the fraud score from Stripe and assigns the corresponding fraud band.

You can choose whether each fraud band automatically applies tags to:

  • Customers: updates the customer's fraud tag and profile risk score.
  • Reservations: applies the fraud tag to the linked reservation or admission group.

Fraud tags are system-managed and cannot be manually removed while auto-tagging is enabled.

We're working on additional fraud workflows, including the ability to automatically flag or block orders based on risk level and route medium-risk transactions for manual review.
