Moonrise Festival is an electronic dance music festival held annually in Baltimore, Maryland. In the months leading up to the show, Moonrise holds a ton of contests to win goodies like free tickets, merch, and meet-ups with festival headliners. Pimlico Race Course is a beautifully-kept, medium-sized venue. Due to its completely flat land, navigating from one end of the festival to another is never exhausting. Each of the four stages is relatively close to one another, making Moonrise an easy festival to survive. Ground control also does a great job of keeping the area clean all weekend.
The vendors at Moonrise have served up a wide variety of food – pizza, cheesesteaks, fried Oreos, Twinkies – in addition to selling clothing and festival accessories. There are free water refill stations spread throughout the grounds. If you need a safe and secure place to store items or are low on phone battery, you can rent a locker that comes internally equipped with a universal charge.
