TablelistPro Client Spotlight: Bounce Sporting Club

June 20, 2023

Bounce Sporting Club is not your average sports bar, catching the attention of bargoers at both its Big Apple and Windy City locations for a reason. Weekly events are the norm, from brunch and happy hour to watch parties and holiday celebrations, offering creative cocktails and pub fare with a twist each day and night. In New York, which we'll dive into, Bounce echoes a modern sports bar vibe, coupled with an upscale ambiance that appeals to Manhattan-ites living a fashionable lifestyle. TablelistPro is proud to be the chosen event, VIP reservations, and venue management platform for Bounce.

1. About

Address & Location:

244 W. 14th St., New York, NY 10011, located in Chelsea, Manhattan

First Opened:

2011

What to Know:

Bounce is a high-energy lounge with a focus on customer service, merging a classic sports bar with an upscale nightlife spot. In fact, the New York Post once boasted, "This is Sports Bar 2.0, a place where colorful cocktails and 10-spice, twice-fried Korean chicken have replaced cheap beer and 10-cent' wings" – and they're right. Bounce's drink menu includes a variety of signature beverages, homemade sangria, and a selection of craft beers and top-shelf spirits. For food, the venue classes up some old standards, serving hamburgers topped with Gruyere and a fried hen egg, duck sliders, and buttermilk fried chicken tenders.

2. Staff and Scene

Who Runs the Show:

Brandit Hospitality Group co-founders Yosi Benvenisti, Benny Silman, and Cole Bernard

The Scene:

The crowd at Bounce tends to be local professionals who have popped over for a chance to loosen their ties and catch a drink. The place can get absolutely packed come gameday, so make sure you’re okay with anonymous high-fiving and back-slapping. Don't be surprised if you run into a celeb or athlete here or there, as they've been spotted by Page Six as choosing Bounce for a place to kick back and escape.

4. Pro-Tips

Since this is a sports bar, casual is mostly fine, but try to avoid tank tops, shorts, and flip-flops during lounge hours (after 10pm). That said, Bounce is chic enough for even the highest of Louboutin heels – so even if you're not into football or basketball fan, you'll be entertained within its sophisticated environment. Once you're in the door, expect to pay $10-15 for cocktails. If you’ve been watching the game and drinking all day, if your team won, or (more importantly) if your team lost, though, it just might make sense to spring for bottle service if you haven’t already.

5. Look Inside

Guests can choose from plush banquette seating, bar stools that face a lit back bar that gives the illusion of a vintage baseball scoreboard from the 1960’s, and high-top tables filling out the rest of the space – all with perfect views of 30 state-of-the art, flat-screen HDTVs surrounding the venue. There's also a private area in the rear, sectioned off by bookshelves and velvet ropes, perfect for those looking for a more intimate setting or a concealed spot located in the back to watch your favorite sporting event.

6. Be There

With fine dining and specialty cocktails, gameday specials, music and entertainment during commercial breaks, and a rotation of special guest DJs on weekend nights, Bounce marks the ultimate sports lounge and night out destination for eating, drinking, parties, and events. Reserve your next night out at Bounce – in either New York or Chicago – on Tablelist!
